The Balm Haul from

If you’re an online beauty shopper like I am, and always source the best deals, chances are you’ve heard of – an online shop that sells everything from The Ordinary to the famous Dermacol Makeup Cover. I’ve recently done a mini The Balm Haul from there – they reached out to me and asked if I wanted to try any of their products, as I soon realised other than my favourite Mary Lou highlighter, I had yet to try any The Balm products. I leapt at the chance at picked up one of their eyeshadow palettes and liquid lipsticks. Find out if they’re worth the hype below.

Nude Dude Volume 2 Eyeshadow Palette

The first item from the small The Balm Haul is the Nude Dude Eyeshadow palette – and don’t roll your eyes, yes it’s another warm toned eyeshadow palette, and no I’m not sorry! This is a palette that has it all, from pale transition shades to shimmery golds to intense blacks. The pan size of these eyeshadows is small, but that is my only negative. The pigmentation is there and packs a real punch with very little fallout when applying to the eye. This palette is perfect for travelling if you love products for convenience, plus with a travel-friendly mirror on the lid, you can’t go wrong. The shades I’ve worn the most since having this The Balm Haul is Fit (a warm toned bronze) and Flawless (a slightly cool-toned brown). You may think you have far too many neutral eyeshadow palettes already, but trust me on this, you’ll adore this if you’re into neutral colours like I am.

Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long Lasting Lipstick in Doting

Again, I know I don’t need another liquid lipstick in my collection, but I’ve heard amazing things about The Balms Meet Matt(e) Hughes range. I chose Doting in the hope it was a nude pink, it’s a lot brighter than I anticipated but I’ve got SO much wear out of it this summer. It’s not a shade I’d usually wear, but I’ve loved how complimenting it looks against my pale skin. The formula is also very interesting, at first it goes on quick thick and creamy, but it dries down to a comfortable matte that stays on when eating, but slightly wears off when drinking water ect. Picking this up has made me want to do another The Balm Haul with just their lipsticks, as they have so many gorgeous colours in the range that I know would be the perfect pick during autumn and winter. The doe foot applicator ensures a precise application time after time,  and it definitely gets a great thumbs up from me!
