False eyelashes are something I never cared all that much for until recent months were to say I’ve become obsessed is a little understatement. When Threads asked me to review their False Eyelashes I couldn’t say no as I’ve been really enjoying trying different makes of eyelashes to find out my favourite from those on the market. I don’t wear lashes often, but having began my YouTube channel plus with shopping trips ect. I’ve found the excuse to trial out these gorgeous eyelashes, so read more to see my review all all three sets!
#1 Be-bop lashes.
These were the ones I gravitated towards first due to how natural they looked; a kind of your eyelashes-but-better. I have worn these five times since having them delivered to my door, with many uses still in them. I use the adhesive that is included with the pack and although the small tube itself looked kinda crappy, it performed much better than the Duo Glue to bought at the same time of my Red Cherry eyelash haul, which surprised me greatly due to the hype of that. In all honesty, I was disappointed and would opt for this free glue instead. These lashes pictured very well, without looking like you were ‘faking’ it – so if you like to keep things natural, especially on a daily basis, these guys will be the lashes for you. Delicate, simple and gorgeous.
#2 Charleston lashes.
Now a little more dramatic than the Be-bop lashes but still with a very natural finish. I loved these very much as they grew longer towards the outer corner of the lashes which if you have hooded eyes help to widen your eyes; a must have for me when it comes to purchasing lashes. The crossed hairs on these increased volume much greater than the previous. I wore these to the Makeup Revolution 2nd Birthday event and received many compliments so I’ll be saving these for any smart/casual events I have where an enhancement of your lashes completes your look. These are probably my favourite of the three on the post today.
#3 Sex kitten lashes.
Wow-zer. These bad boys were all about DRAMA and they did not dissapoint! I have tried these on at home but have yet to wear them to an event as I’m waiting for a few birthday parties I have at the end of the month to complete a very dramatic look when we go clubbing to celebrate. With my eyes being quite small, these I do feel outbalance the tops but nothing a smoked out waterline can’t solve. If you’re all about the drama – these are made for you! Having been quite new to the eyelash world, these intimidated me at first, but I’ve quickly fallen in love and can’t wait to trial them out on a night out!
As for wear, all three lashes lasted all day with using the glue they came with for free. Again, I was very surprised but this out performed by duo lash glue and therefore I’ll be keeping hold of this for other lashes too! The first two were paired with a very simple winged eye liner look and looked fab but of course be as dramatic as you make them with smokey eyes or the like. Having not heard much about the brand, I was unsure what to expect – but I’m left very impressed and would recommend you try them out if you haven’t either yet! Their website includes everything from eyelashes, to brow products to nail varnish and is definitely a brand to look out for in the beauty world!
What are your favourite lashes? Have you tried any Threads ones? Let me know!
