Pastel perfection ss15

Spring has well and truly kicked in and the nice weather recently has got us all going from our autumn/winter wardrobe to summer and spring! For me there is nothing better than being able to wear a dress and enjoying the sunshine. Pastel colours to me scream out gorgeous weather and the high street have embraced this timeless trend with some really exciting new items that I’ve certainly been lusting over. I’ve picked out my favourite pieces from the high street to show just ho easy it is to look on trend on a budget this season.

River Island:

River Island never fail to deliver some of the most beautiful collections every season and SS15 is no exception. Their range from light pinks to pastel blues have made picking up key items for your wardrobe easier than ever before. I am loving the blue platforms as well as the hem grey dress above and will definitely be quick in buying them for myself as I know just how popular they are going to be. Bralets are great for a night out and the pink one is just adorable – goodbye monochrome and hello colours!

Topshop:

TOPSHOP pastel ss15

Topshop have dissapointed me with their range of pastels but those I have found, I love. I’m really intrigued with the high waisted bikinis as everyone is praising them so I have to try on this gorgeous mint set to see what all the fuss is about and if I like it on, it’ll make a fantastic companion on my holiday in October. These pale blue court shoes are only another favourite of mine, everyone seems to be on a hunt for their perfect pair and these might just be mine. Also, how fun is the pom pom hair band? It was all about pom poms during London Fashion Week so I will have to pick this up as it is the cutest thing EVER.

Mint Bikini Top and High-Waisted Pants – £25.00 | Bow Back Crepe Shift Dress – £65.00 | GALLOP Court Shoes – £59.00 | Charlotte iPhone 6 Case by Skinnydip – £12.00 | Lolita ’60’s Round Sunglasses – £16.00 | Floral Print Textured Tank – £16.00 | MOTO Bright Blue Rosa Shorts- £26.00 | Arrow Tote Bag – £28.00 | Faux Fur Pom-Pom Hairband – £6.00.

New Look:

new look pastel clothing

New Look is mainly all about the light pinks this season with a collection of other colours to throw in the mix. I am such a fan of floppy hats yet couldn’t find one that was really me until I found this gorgeous grey (and slightly lilac) one above, it’ll be great for summer days out! I love that New Look prices are the cheapest of all and are still a fantastic quality; I’ve still got some items from last year that’ll be re-emerging for this years summer wear! Cami tops are going to be my ‘go-to’ and New Look’s vast range is fantastic and at such a low price you can buy several for yourself without any guilt.

Light Blue Acid Wash High Waisted Skinny Jeans – £24.99 | Orange Ethnic Print Lace Side Short Briefs – £3.99 | Peach Cages Strap Bodycon Dress – £27.99 | Coral High Square Neck Cami – £9.99 | Lilac Waterfall Blazer – £24.99 | Lilac Chunky Frame Box Clutch – £22.99 | Mint Green Cross Strap Wedges – £24.99 | Light Grey Wool Floppy Hat – £14.99 | Yellow Textured Scallop Hem Bow – £3.99  | Pink Rose Bloom Print iPhone 5 Case – £4.99.
