• Summer smells: Victoria Secret’s body mist

I’ve always adored the smell of the Victoria Secret’s body mist yet had never actually bought any myself, only admired it from those who wore it. That was until I received an exclusive email from Beauty Bay stating for a limited time only they had the body mists in stock and they were all around the £8 mark. I had to seize the oppotunity to grab them, as far as I’m aware the deal is now off and they are no longer in stock but my advice is to sign up to the Beauty Bay letter just as you not only find out about the current deals but also get sent email exclusive discount codes. I grabbed two from the range and I’m going to be talking about them now and how they make the best companion during this summery weather we seem to be having lately.

    Real Techniques powder brush review

I love Real Techniques and if you’ve read my blog you know this is certainly not the only product of their I own. For those new to my blog, I reviewed the Miracle Complexion Sponge here. I had my eye on this Real Techniques powder brush for so long and it wasn’t until my final student loan payment for this year was paid in that I bit the bullet and went ahead and purchased it. I really wanted a large brush to apply my powder to finish my make-up and this was an obvious contender so I’ll be letting you all know exactly what I think of it so you know whether this RT brush is to make it in your collection too.

Survival guide: second year at uni

Having finished my second year at uni, it is apparent thing have changed dramatically ever since last year. Being away from halls changes so much about living life at Uni, this year also counts towards your final degree unlike the first year so naturally the pressure is on. I’ve put together my top ten points on how I survived my second year ready for those about to go through this themselves, so you are prepared for how things change so you’re ready for what life throws at you and how expectation differ from the reality of embarking on your second year as a full time student.

    Sentimental jewellery I wear daily

I am a true believer that the jewellery/accessories a person wears tell a story about them. From an engagement ring to a Pandora bracelet to a string-made anklet, sentimental jewellery  are one of our most treasured possessions. I decided to dedicate a post to explain the stories behind the two items I wear every single day without fail. I can’t wait to own more items, the kind you tell your children about. My two items include a ring and a watch so read more to find out why they are so special to me and assist me wherever I go.olivia burton watch and virtue ring

April and May has focused on smelling summery and hydrating my skin and my empties this month certainly reflect this attitude of mine. I have been testing out such a range of different products and hope you enjoy my post on what it is I’ve been using recently.
