Bloggers block can be more common than you expect and from time to time even the most motivated blogger struggles to think of the subject of a new post so I have compiled a list of 100 blog post ideas to help you get back into the swings of things. Even Dickens had ‘off days’.
I wanted to write a short post today letting you all know about my favourite liquid eyeliner of all time! Liquid eyeliner is my favourite make-up product by far and if I could only keep one thing, it would certainly be the ability to add a flick to my eyes to give the illusion of them being bigger. I have tried so many different eyeliners from high end to super low end and have to say I know I have found “the one” after so long. What’s better? it costs less than £2 each and it is the best eyeliner I have ever used – stays on all day and is so precise and just perfect.
I had been considering buying the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade now for months, I have heard so many amazing things about the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade from the beauty world promising it to revolutionised your brow routine from day one but without a ABH counter in the UK I had to read up on existing reviews and research swatches to try to determine which shade would be best for my recently new ombre – dark blonde to platinum blonde – hair. I was stuck between the Taupe and Blonde shade and even up to clicking ‘buy now’ I was concerned my choice would not be the best match for me and then I wouldn’t be able to return it with it being such a high priced product but I took the risk and went with Blonde following the guidelines on the ABH website; in short it recommends blonde for darker blondes and taupe for platinum blondes. With my darker roots I determined the Blonde would be the best match on that basis. Basically, this was spot on and I’d recommend you all follow that advise if you’re stuck between the two shades.
What with contouring being the key to enhancing cheekbones and jawbones, a highlighter is used on the lighter areas to attract natural light to give you a natural glow. I have been loving the Barry M Contour Kit at the moment and although it has been my ‘go-to’ palette, it only comes with a light powder and not a highlighter so I set out to get one to match my skin tone. I had eye-d up ones from MAC, NARS but then I saw this beautiful Makeup Revolution peach lights highlighter, and I bought it right away. The Makeup Revolution peach lights highlighter is a soft pink toned highlighter and matched my skin perfectly plus with only a £3 price tag I couldn’t not get it!
After mentioning in my recent beauty wishlist post (click here to view that) I mentioned how I’m lusting over the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge so much so I decided to finally buy it. I have loved the RT brushes for a flawless application and with the sponge promising the same results I was eager to give it a go! I gave up using sponges beforehand because they absorbed more product than I ended up using on my face but they were cheap ones and with the beauty blenders and alike taking the beauty industry by storm I had to get one from my fav gals from Pixiwoo; Sam and Nic Chapman.
