I made a video (here) all about my Huge Beauty Haul including High End and Drug Store products and decided to write a blog post to include a little more information about the products themselves, so be sure to continue reading to find out what I picked up over the past few weeks…
L’Oreal Infallible Mattifying Primer / I’ve had my eye on this for a long time and when Superdrug was holding their 3 for 2 on Make Up a few weeks back I didn’t hesitate adding this to my basket. I’ve swatched this before and it made my skin feel incredibly soft and my obsession with primers has increased so much since the start of 2016. Using this alongside the Porefessional primer will also give me the opportunity to report in if it really is a dupe for it. Really excited to begin using it!
Benefit Pretty Porefect Gift Set/ Can you believe I’m a beauty blogger and never tried the Porefessional primer by Benefit yet? Asos was holding 20% off for student again the other week and when I saw this gift set I snapped it up immediately as this was the same price as the Porefessional primer alone for its full size product as well as these samples by Benefit working out to be free – amazing! Can’t wait to start using this as it’s been hyped to death!
L’Oreal True Match in 4.D/4.W / I needed a foundation for when I fake tan and found this to be a perfect match! The True Match foundation selection is fantastic for all skin colours and if you read my ‘Battle of the…’ Foundations post here then you’ll know I was using the previous formula of this foundation and I wasn’t all that impressed. I heard this was a more improved version and what I’ve tried already I’d definitely agree! This is a much more medium coverage than previously and less watery. If you weren’t a fan of the True Match foundation before, I would definitely recommend giving this new one a try!
Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Eye Concealer in Nude / Not only did I need a new foundation for when I was tanned but also I needed a new concealer. The hype for this concealer is remarkable and I was curious. The sponge-like applicator is very unique and I finally added it to my collection. I’m yet to test it out properly but I’ll let you know how I get on with it a few weeks down the line!
Rimmel Match Perfection Concealer in Ivory / … and a concealer for when I’m not tanned. I’ve used this concealer so many times before and always seem to go back to it. The coverage is amazing and the brush applicator is a really nice way to apply concealer to desired areas. Definitely one of my favourites for fair skin currently on the market especially for fair skinned girls!
Rimmel Volume Colourist Mascara / This was one of the products that encouraged this mini haul as this also has lash tint capability meaning that even on the days you don’t wear mascara your lashes will look tinted and therefore longer. Apparently. I can’t wait to put this to the test and see if it does give long term results.
Nars Orgasm Blush / Another high end product that has been on my wishlist for years and I finally took the plunge and picked it up from Asos again during their 20% off for students event. This is going to be my go to blush over Spring and Summer I can just tell. Also, is it just me that finds Nars packaging pretty orgasmic anyway?
Rimmel X Kate Moss Blush, Contour and Highlight Trio in 003 Bronze / I saw this in Superdrug and was taken back by just how cute it looked and the shades and pigment came across very high end. I went for the darkest shade as this was the only one from the collection that had a matte bronzer and a shimmery blush. The blush itself reminds me of the Nars Orgasm itself and I’d definitely recommend this as a dupe for anyone wanting to get the same pink with gold shimmers without splurging.
So there we have all of the additions to my Beauty collection. I can’t wait to try them all out and I’m sure I’ve found products I’ll be using none stop over the next few months.
Have you tried out any of these products? What products have you picked up recently? Let me know!
