Calling all face mask enthusiasts, I have quite the review for you today! I have not jusdt one, but two DAYTOX Face Masks to share with you today – a peel off one and a hydrating one. With different benefits from both, I can’t wait to share my thoughts on them with you today.
Note: The products featured in this DAYTOX Face Masks Review have been gifted to me in exchange for an honest review. See my full disclaimer for more information.
Peel Off Mask
This product claims to provide an intensive deep cleansing for your skin by absorbing excess sebum and with regular use can also help to combat pesky blackheads. It is also important to note this is silicone free, paraben free, vegan, no artificial colours, no paraffin oils as well as cruelty free which is fantastic and showcases the quality of the ingredients of this DAYTOX Face Mask.
To apply I use a foundation brush (although now you can buy silicone face mask brushes which may be more practical) and apply a generous layer to my T-zone with a particular focus on my nose and chin as I do suffer from blackheads terribly around there. I also sometimes add a small layer to my cheeks to help pesky, enlarged pores. I then let this dry and keep on for around 30 minutes and then peel off with great satisfaction. As an oily skinned girl, I definitely notice this DAYTOX Face Mask helps control oil production for at least 48 hours after use. I have been trying this mask 2 times a week for six weeks and there are still a few applications left from the bottle which makes for great value for money. If your skin is particularly blemish-prone, you can use this 3 times a week for greater results.
Unlike the peel off DAYTOX Face Mask, this hydrating mask is suitable for one application. Simply add 4 tablespoons of water into the provided cup, empty the sachet and stir well for at least 30 seconds (included in the cup with the mask) until the mixture is a smooth and even consistency. Once mixed, quickly apply an even layer to your face (and neck too – there’s plenty of product) and leave on for 10 – 15 minutes. This can then be removed in one piece too and I have to say this mask really is very unique.
I have absolutely loved using these DAYTOX Face Masks, especially helping my postpartum skin from breaking out. It would be difficult to choose just one favourite as both were so unique but I’d definitely say that if you have oily skin you’ll prefer the peel off mask and if your skin is more on the dry side then the hydrating DAYTOX Face Mask is for you.
