The UK became America over the Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend. I work in a shop and have to say it didn’t make too much difference to us but the deals online were phenomenal and that’s no exaggeration. I knew I had to pick up a few items that have been on my wishlist for what seems like forever, and probably could have spent hundreds more, but thankfully I was paid on the Monday meaning I was limited with funds but I’m quite thankful for that seeming as I have so many Christmas presents still to buy! I couldn’t wait to share with you everything I picked up, the only problem with online orders was waiting for them to arrive… but finally here, I couldn’t be more excited!
1.Nike Roshe (Black & White) | ASOS 20% off.
Oh the amount of time I have lusted over Nike Roshe’s! My black vans have lasted me well over four years but were showing their age and it was time to get a new pair of black trainers because I probably wear them 75% of the time. I have a pair of Nike Airs and love them so much for the gym but at £70 I just couldn’t justify the splurge. But for Black friday ASOS HAD 20% OFF EVERYTHING! I couldn’t believe it and snapped up a pair of my dream trainers. I had such a dilemma picking a size as I seem to be a different size in every store, but Nike’s website has a size guide that ended up with a perfect fitting. I wore these the first time on Monday and they’re so lightweight and genuinely feels like you’re floating. I often worry about over-hyped products but these do not dissapoint in the slightest, especially at £56!
2. TIGI Catwalk Oatmeal & Honey | Look Fantastic 25% off.
It was only a few months ago when I finished my TIGI Bed Head, Dumb Blonde Duo Set and loved how amazing they made my hair felt but being the beauty hoarder I have become I had so many other Shampoo and Conditioners to use up before I repurchased I had been getting through those until around 9pm on Black Friday, Look Fantastic raised their Black Friday discount from 20% to 25% and I knew I had to grab another duo set at such a crazy reduction. If you have dry and damaged hair like me, TIGI quickly becomes a miracle worker on restoring health and shine. I’ve heard countless amazing reviews about the Honey & Oatmeal set so I knew it had to be this duo up next. I’m so excited to start using these and letting you all know if they live up to their expectation. Bravo Look Fantastic on this discount.
3. Benefit Hoola | ASOS 20% off.
This bronzer has been on my wishlist since a friend recommended and let me try this out a few weeks ago. It creates such a natural finish I was going to ask for it for Christmas, but with Benefit available in the ASOS discount I had no restraint and added it to my basket. I love the Kabuki brush that comes with it although I think I’ll reach for the Makeup Revolution Rose Gold Contour brush to apply it as I find the handle helps me blend it out much quicker. It has the perfect blend of brown and orange and I am so grateful to add it to my collection at the discounted price.
I then quickly shut down my wifi before being able to spend any more money. I am however impressed that I restrained myself at only purchasing one makeup item, have you seen Benefit’s Swarvoski They’re Real Mascara? Oh it’s so beautiful, but no Amy! Haha, I love how big Black Friday has become here in the UK as so many deals were to be had!
Did you pick up anything amazing over the Black Friday weekend? Let me know!
