I feel like I love my blogging mojo recently but I’M BACK and today I’m sharing my 72 Hair Daily Intense Moisture Duo review – a haircare range new to my collection! If you’re new to my blog (firstly – welcome), I’m fussy when it comes to hair care, much more fussy than I am with beauty item as my hair is dry, damaged and often bleached so I need all the help I can get. I often gravitate towards products that’ll help me inject moisture and shine into my locks to give the illusion of healthy hair. Keep reading to find out my 72 Hair Daily Intense Moisture Duo review and how I rate these products.
To try out this line, I received the Intense Moisture Duo, priced at £29.98 for both shampoo and conditioner. Needless to say, this is quite a premium price so I expected amazing things. Firstly, it’s important to note each bottle is 250ml which isn’t a huge amount of product but I’ve paid a lot more for hair products, for a lot less, as they help my hair incredibly. My motto is that there isn’t a price for gorgeous looking hair.
Enough about the price, and more about their performance. I found I only needed a small amount of shampoo before it lathered beautifully in my hair. As I massaged it in, I could smell the gorgeous aromas of the product; it smelt extremely relaxing. It instantly made my hair genuinely feel extremely clean and hydrated which is rare for products on their first use. I then found saving the shampoo for more of a deep clean of my hair was the best way to maximise the products and this routine worked beautifully between my regular shampoo to lock in the vitamins my hair so desperately craves. It’s selling point is of course moisture and it really does deliver – my hair not only looked but felt so healthy. I’ve not had this product for around 6 weeks and almost coming to an end which is fantastic as I used this for every second wash and I was my hair averagely 4 times a week.
Next up, the conditioner. I feel as though I get through conditioner much quicker than shampoo so I am unfortunately already out of this which I am gutted about, however, this is because when I deep condition my hair I use conditioner more as a mask than a wash in, wash out product. I ensure my hair is fully saturated with the product and allow it to sit on my scalp for 15/20 minutes (often whilst watching Keeping up with the Kardashians on my iPad whilst I’m in the bath). This is a hack that my hair loves and ensures all of the ingredients from the product can really sink into my hair before I rinse it away. The results did not disappoint too, my hair felt really soft which is again pretty unusual for my forever-dead hair.
All in all, I simply adore this haircare duo and know I’ll be stocking up as a treat for my hair. The price point is certainly more high end for shampoo and conditioner but if your hair is a little lacklustre like mine then this could be what you’re looking for. It delivers all of its promises and helped make my hair more manageable when styling.
